ASimpleLogbook is a digital pilot logbook for iOS. It lets you record flights, SIM sessions, and licence details in an EASA Part-FCL Annex I compliant format. All data is stored locally on your device and, if enabled, synced via your personal iCloud account.

ASimpleLogbook is a one-time purchase. There are no subscriptions, no recurring fees, and no hidden in-app purchases. All features — iCloud Sync, statistics, CSV import/export, and EASA PDF export — are included in the single purchase price.

ASimpleLogbook records flight data following the columns defined in EASA Part-FCL Annex I (pilot logbook format). The PDF export is formatted to match the standard logbook layout required by EASA regulations. Always verify with your authority that digital exports are accepted in your specific context.

You can import historical data from a CSV file. Go to Settings → Import to download a template CSV showing the required column format. Fill it in with your past flights and import it into the app. Both flight and SIM session data are supported.

Yes. Go to Settings → Previous Experience to enter your total hours by category (total flight time, night, IFR, PIC, SIC, etc.) from before you started using the app. These hours will be included in your All-Time statistics totals.

Enable iCloud Sync in Settings. Your flights, SIM sessions, and licences will then be stored in your personal iCloud account via Apple's CloudKit service. Any device signed in to the same Apple ID will automatically receive updates. We have no access to your iCloud data.

Yes. ASimpleLogbook supports two export formats:

  • CSV Export: A machine-readable backup of all your entries, compatible with spreadsheet apps.
  • PDF Export: An EASA-formatted logbook PDF suitable for official records.

Both are available in Settings → Export.

Add your licences and ratings in the Licences tab. Set expiry dates for each one. The dashboard will show a warning banner when a licence is close to expiring, so you always know what needs renewal.

Your data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers. If you enable iCloud Sync, data is encrypted and stored in your personal iCloud account — only accessible to devices signed in to your Apple ID. We collect no analytics and use no tracking services.
