This Privacy Policy describes how ASimpleAviationTool ("we", "our", or "us") handles information when you use our mobile application (the "App").

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Data You Provide

ASimpleAviationTool does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information. You may enter airport codes or weather parameters into the app's tools; this data is used only locally on your device and is never stored or transmitted to us.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

ASimpleAviationTool does not automatically collect or transmit personal data. The only network requests made by the app are:

• Weather data requests: When you look up METAR, TAF, NOTAM, SIGMET, or VOLMET, the app sends a request containing only the airport code to a public aviation weather API. No personal information is included in these requests.
• Airport database: Airport data (OurAirports) is bundled with the app and stored locally. No network request is made for airport lookups.

Note: If you have enabled crash reporting in your iOS device settings, Apple may collect crash reports automatically. This is controlled by your device settings, not by ASimpleAviationTool.

2. How We Use Your Information

We do not collect personal information, so there is no personal data for us to use. Weather queries are forwarded to public APIs on your behalf to retrieve publicly available aviation data; no personal identifiers are included.

We do not: track your usage, collect analytics, build profiles, share data with advertisers, or use your data for any purpose other than delivering the requested aviation information to your device.

3. Third-Party Data Sources

ASimpleAviationTool uses the following external data sources:

• OurAirports Database: Airport data (ICAO codes, runways, frequencies, coordinates) is sourced from OurAirports (ourairports.com), a publicly available database under a Creative Commons CC0 licence. This data is bundled with the app and does not involve any network request when used.
• Public Aviation Weather APIs: Real-time weather data (METAR, TAF, NOTAM, SIGMET, VOLMET) is retrieved from public aviation weather services. Queries contain only the requested airport code. Please refer to the respective service's privacy policy for their data practices.

4. Data Storage

ASimpleAviationTool does not persistently store any personal data. The airport database is stored locally on your device for offline use. Weather results are displayed in-app and not retained between sessions.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or share any personal data with third parties, because we do not collect any. The only external communication is anonymous weather data requests to public APIs, which contain no personal information.

6. Children's Privacy

ASimpleAviationTool does not collect any personal information from users of any age. There are no privacy concerns specific to children.

7. Your Rights

7. Purchase and Payment Information

ASimpleAviationTool is sold as a one-time purchase through the Apple App Store. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. We receive only:

• Confirmation that your purchase is valid (to unlock the app)

We do not receive or store: your payment method, billing address, email address, or any other financial information. All transactions are governed by Apple's terms and privacy policy.

8. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

9. GDPR Compliance

Since ASimpleAviationTool does not collect, transmit, or store personal user data, it is inherently compliant with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and similar privacy regulations.
